When I found it,
I knew I had to have it,
It was mine.
It immediately became,
An extension of me.
I stored it in my pocket,
Day after day,
As I would splash and swim and play.
When I got hungry,
I'd swim below,
Bring up a treat,
and smash it with that smooth, unbreakable thing.
that is a part of me.
I pull it out,
Now and again,
It brings me joy,
This thing that provides me with sustenance.
....
...
....
Today it is gone!
OH NO!
Where did it go?
Today it is gone...
I long for it so.
